Lynnwood Rotary - Good Works, Good People

The Rotary Club of Lynnwood has elected it’s new leadership for 2008-09 Jay Tveit will serve as president, Theresa Poalucci of the Journal Newspapers will serve as president elect. Andrew Ballard of Marketing Solutions, Inc. in as VP,  and Allison Gilham of Prime Pacific Bank as Treasurer and Joseph Fitch of Award Services, Inc. installed as Secretary. That’s a first class crew with many years of local community service between them. Coming off a successful car show August 3rd that benefitted Clothes for Kids in Lynnwood as well as the Rotary Foundation they now look forward to the Annual Charity Golf Tournament presented by headline Sponsor, Acura of Lynnwood. We thank them and wish them all a successful term in office. Keep up the good work.

Clothes for Kids Raises Coins for Kids

Now through May, the annual Clothes for Kids, Coins for Kids fund drive is happening in the Edmonds School District schools. This year the CFK fund drive is benefitting from matching funds donated by local businesses. Clothes for kids is a local non profit, located in the Meadowdale area of Lynnwood, WA  providing clothing and other resources to less fortunate children in an effort to reduce barriers to learning in our schools
